Membership is by request through this website. There is no cost associated with
joining this AAPA special interest group. See our Mission Statement for more
information about the intention and direction of the Neuroscience Alliance for PA's. All
members are listed under the Members page and if requested, we will include practice
and contact information. Individuals may be listed under more than one membership
category.
Membership categories include:
- Charter Member - member who is involved in the development and direction of
the Neuroscience special interest group and dedicated to provide voluntary
support. New Charter members are accepted at the discretion of the current
charter board members. Charter members may oversee and/or are responsible
for the content or editing of this website. Charter members and expected to
participate in fulfilling the mission of the Neuroscience Alliance while working
toward 'AAPA Specialty Organization' status.
- Medical Director - is a physician committed to strengthening the role of the
Physician Assistant in Neurology. The medical director is responsible for the
accuracy and timeliness of the content on this website. Medical Director is a
voluntary position.
- .Advisory Board Member - are known experts in their specialty and available
as conference speakers. Advisory board members may be asked to peer-review
publications submitted for inclusion on this website. Charter members are
responsible for approving Advisory board member status and Resume or
Curriculum Vitae required.
- Member at Large - Members at large can submit educational information or
material, obtain and submit regional information pertinent to this group, recruit
additional members, encourage networking, participate and promote the overall
growth of the Neuroscience Alliance. Members at Large are encouraged to
provide feedback to Charter Members and Medical Director regarding the
activities of the Neuroscience Alliance.
- Non-Members - non-members can register for updates to this website only.
Non-members simply submit their email address for update notifications.
