“Allied Team Training for Parkinson (ATTP)”
(Boston, MA - April 23-27, 2008)

A 4 ½ day training program to increase knowledge and skills in:

-        assessment and treatment of Parkinson disease
-        interdisciplinary teamwork
-        professional skills development in your discipline

Presented by National Parkinson Foundation ATTP Faculty

ATTP is a model interdisciplinary training program designed to prepare current
professionals and future healthcare teams to deliver integrated specialized care
to individuals with Parkinson disease and their families. Allied Team Training for
Parkinson is a unique, comprehensive interdisciplinary training program with an
emphasis on practical “hands on” knowledge and problem-centered case
studies. It is designed for health care teams and/or individual practitioners of the
following professions:

Physicians                             Physician Assistants
Nurse Practitioners                Nurses
Physical Therapists                Social Workers
Occupational Therapists        
 Speech Language Pathologists  
Music Therapists    

The course is co-sponsored by the University of South Florida, College of
Medicine.  CE/CME credit is available for physicians, physician assistants and
nurse-practitioners who are required to attend the first day of training for 7
Continuing Medical Credits (CMEs), and are encouraged to complete the full 4 ½
day training for a maximum of 27.5 CMEs. The training will take place from
Wednesday through Sunday.  Continuing Education Credits will be offered to
nursing and allied health practitioners completing the 4 ½ days of training.

Applications are free to submit, registration fee is due 2 weeks after receipt of
acceptance notification.

Registration Fee if accepted:
$300 per person (1 to 2 people)
$250 per person (3 or more people from the same facility)
Fellows are free
Students are free (limited to 2 per profession)
